The Eswatini Meteorological Service (EMS) is the National Meteorological Authority of the Kingdom of Eswatini. The Service was established under the Meteorology Act of 1992, which consolidated the separate meteorological services that existed prior to that time. EMS currently operates under this Act, which provides the legal framework for its activities, together with the Convention of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and other national and international agreements and treaties.

To be a provider of high-quality weather and climate-related products and services that are widely understood, accessible, and valued by the people of Eswatini and international stakeholders.
Mission
To monitor weather and climate conditions and provide timely advisories to ensure the safety of life and property, including aviation safety, while taking into account regional and international initiatives and standards.
