The recommended hotels for all participants are the Benin Royal Hotel (Maro Militaire Neighbourhood) or Nobila Hotel (near the Airport). A block booking will be arranged for the Forum participants.
The Nobila Hotel is located 2,6 Km from the conference venue, while the Benin Royal Hotel is 4 Km away. Transports will be arranged for participants to travel to the conference centre every day.
For sponsored participants:
Sponsored participants will be accommodated at the Benin Royal Hotel (Maro Militaire Neighbourhood) or Nobila Hotel (near the Airport) and EUMETSAT will cover the cost of the hotel accommodation. This includes room, breakfast, wireless internet connection, tourist and municipal taxes, as well as local transport between the airport and the hotel and between hotel and conference venue. Participants will have to pay for all other expenses (bar, minibar, laundry, telephone, fax, supplementary meals, etc.). EUMETSAT will take care of the hotel reservations for sponsored participants.
For non-sponsored participants:
It is recommended to non-sponsored participants to book their accommodation near the Palais des Congrès, Cotonou. A list of alternative hotels is proposed below. However, no local transport will be arranged from these hotels to the conference venue. Participants will have to make their own arrangement for local transport. Distances from these other hotels to the Palais des Congrès are indicated in the website, some are at walking distance (e.g Golden Tulip, Ibis, Hotel du Lac and Novotel Hotels).
